Does any one have any experience with these newer mofo's?

Do you think 2 dvc 1 ohm subs will survive on an orion 2500 at 1 ohm?

the box i built is 32 x 30 x 18 ported at 35 hz 12 cu ft^3 TOTAL

something like 4.5 cu ft^3 NET /per sub

There's somebody in the classifieds selling two of those AND a PA3000db for $500 shipped.

they're monsters. sound as ugly as they look, but f*cking violent.

they get loud but dont sound good plain and simple and homie you would need an amp that does max power at .5 ohm or 2 ohm they both won't wire to 1 ohm just like that pa amp its all a good deal but at 2 ohm its rated at 1800rms and its a pa amp so it wont do close to that prob. around 1500rms.

if your getting sum MOFO's the 12's have better output than the 15's

Look up the Hollywood Digital top dogs. They have some mean things.

if you port them itll sound liek a SPL fart....lots of dB's...lots of fart bass......

with enough power and the right ported box though you can get some sick results out of those subs, just check your cone temp every so often after long playing so you know if you're close to blowing it or not,.....

If you just want to slump that should work fine. Those subs aren't bad, they're definitely loud and handle their power, they are just difficult to make sound good.
