ummm trust me when I say at 1 ohm on a 13.7 volt system they pull around 1000 amps. and no i'm not an idiot. they are around 83% efficent. lol thats at 4 ohms. If you look into the research and see whats been tested you will understand that the person who is an idiot is you... its average efficenty with power consumption is around 86 percent. infact test results on an oscil says that after 300 amps of power input to the amp it went into protection. had it been able to actually been tested with a loud speaker they expected more. I myself have tested the amp. and yes it does draw at 1 ohm on a 14.6 volt system it drew a little over 1000 amps before I dropped voltage. infact since i'm such an idiot try looking at this ....

lmao, you really are bloody stupid aren't you?

lets see, 1000amps input, at 14 volts... 14,000watts input? hmm, 5000watts output?

so, basically, you're stating it generates 9,000watts of heat at full power?

lmao!!! its a bloody hot plate!!!

wow, you're so smart arent you!!! haha

thanks for the link though, I've already seen it, but as it clearly states, it draws 300amps, to give about 3800watts...

yet, you're claiming it draws over THREE TIMES THE AMOUNT to give 30% more power? lol

you're f*cking retarded!!!

if you realize that putting the amp to a sinewave and not a loud speaker is 2 totally different things. so basically your saying that this DD amp at 5000 watts rms is going to only draw 300 amps... so at 14.6 volts x 300 amps that would be 4380 watts... so you believe this amp is over 100% efficent. I never said that that current draw was the average. That was the peak amperage draw I saw on the amp. PEAK. and who are you to go around and call me anything. You have no idea who I am or what I've done or what I've tested.

lmao, I never said it would only draw 300amps to give 5000watts, just because you're retarded doesn't mean you're right in anyone elses world except your own.

the amplifier is about 85% efficient.

under no circumstances, EVER, will it EVER draw anywhere NEAR 1000amps, unless the f*cking thing has blown up.

you sir. are a f*cking moron!

lol ok so when I droped to about 11.6 volts at the 1000 amp draw that is completely not possible huh? so baicly this 5000 watt amp isn't capable of a peak of around 12k? really.... I not once claimed to be super smart. I still don't claim to be. However You can never come in and tell someone that what they measured didn't happen. THAT IS STUPID ON YOUR PART.

so baicly this 5000 watt amp isn't capable of a peak of around 12k? really....
wtf?

of course this amplifier can't do 12,000watts "pmpo?" not without blowing up!!

and its not a 5,000watt amp, its rated at 3000watts.

it does more than rated, but thats not the point.

Digital Designs Z1

1 x 3000W @ 1 ohm (14.4V)

1 x 5000W @ 1 ohm (16V)

Efficiency:

Dimensions: 24" x 12" x 2.76" (610mm x 285mm x 70mm)

Bench tested by Peter.T from Soundpressure.com (Sweden):

12 Volts:

4.6 ohms = 2279W

2.3 ohms = 3405W

1.15 ohms = 4188W

14,4 Volts:

4.6 ohms = 3042W

2.3 ohms = 4461W

1.15 ohms = 5358W

so this wouldn't peak at about 10K? rite? for running at 14.4 volts at 5300 watts rms it wouldn't come close to 10 k....

no, it wouldnt.

wtf are you on about? are you on drugs?

it runs about +-140 volt rails with 14.4 volt input, this equates to a potential, maximum output power of about 8500watts into 1 ohm...

but you're going to have impedance rise, and the f*cking thing will never really do that power anyway!!!

you clearly have no f*cking idea!!!

even giving 8500watts, it would still only draw 700amps or so... but it won't even do that!!!

you're an idiot, stop proving it, the more you post, the dumber you look!
