They were rated 3k and users have clamped them closer to 5k.

With an impedance rise to around 1 ohm. The conditions are clearly posted for the clamp testing... these amps have been out for YEARS so I fail to see the controversy with the power output here, it's well documented.

how bout we try this .... actaully i was working on selling both for you .. but thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but wont work now since they really arent any more power for DAILY than a saz3k.. correct? which would you rather see in this install? any "controversy" of the output is there because tey are posted at 5k rms in the first post. there is a 3k and a 5k version of this amp.. correct?? that would be my guess as to why so many questions. not everyone knows every model year dd and power output.

3k "rated" and "tested" 5k

DD changed the rating on the Z1A to 5k and these were rated 3k, although, people tested them at 5k. So it is confusing.
