where the arrows are...do I have to connect both wires together, then run a seperate wire to the amp...or can I just connect the two wires at the amp?

also, does it matter which coil(1 or 2) goes to the amp from each sub?

right now I have coil 1 pos. and coil 2 neg. coming out of the box.

Just as DBDRAGGUY stated...
All Positives connected together...

All Negatives connected together...
but my question was...does it matter WHERE they are connected?

can i connect each subs pos and neg coils together in the box, and connect both subs pos together and neg together on the amp?

Yes, they can be connected inside the box, and just 2 wires per sub to the amp. Just a suggestion, but just as a learning and reference tool. Invest in a digital multi meter. Comes in handy.
