2512 or Level 4

I can get the dd 2512 for around the same price as a DC lvl4 12", both new.

What Im looking for in a sub is good lows, pretty loud, and decent SQ.

They can get 900-1300w rms, in a ported box that i will make.

I say lvl 4. I had a 2510 and it was good nothing to write home about. Either should be fine. LvL 4 is what $295 shipped thought DD was alil less then that.

What size box did you have it in? Good lows?

mine was 1.8cf tuned to 37.5hz with 32sq" of port but that was for a 10 on around 1200watts. Could it go low sure it could in the right box but I dropped below tunning and boom there went the spiders.

Mine was in 2.25... It got fairly low but I wouldnt tune that high again...

I've gotten some very impressive results out of 2512's and 3512's. I designed a box fora guy with 2 2512's in an explorer off 1200rms. He did a 148.7 legal.

I had a single 3512 on 3000rms in my truck in a 4th order. It did 147's from 33-38hz.

Thanks guys, dd reccomends 2.5ft3, think there would be a difference if i put it in 2.35 tuned to around 35hz with a 4" areo port?

Think supercharging it for $65 is worth it?
