I have an LC2 tapping into my factory stereo, running a signal to a Rockford Fosgate 2500.1bd, powering(for now) a 15 inch T2 2ohm sub. Anyone have any experience with the gain and equalizer settings on this 2500.1? It seems to need to be set pretty **** high to get this sub to produce, is the LC2 really dampening the signal that much?

You should be able to put the gain all the way down on the amplifier and use the line driver on the LC2 to level match it to the radio for full power, even into clipping, and get the highest S/N ratio too. I’m guessing the input gain on the LC2 isn’t set correctly.
