Depending on the application, most of my kits are much cheaper than that. I can do any 250 amp CS144 for $349 shipped. The only thing that increases cost above that is custom brackets or adapter harnesses. Feel free to e-mail me for a price quote for any application.

ahhh ****! i just purchased an alternator from DB electrical. I would have went with mechmen if i heard about them prior to making my purchase. I'll keep my eyes on mechman

Wow, that's a great deal. My 160A alter which was benched at 173A for my Accord (when I had it) was approx $300. I believe it used a GM casing as well. Gonna have to contact you guys when I do an audio setup in my new ride.
