2015 orion hcca 5000.1d yes or no?

the old 5k says its only 2500rms but this amp says its 5400 at 12.6 and 7000 at 14.3
Good luck to you then. That was the only "5000.1" orion amp that you could see inside of with google image search.

I'd like to make two points here. First, you can get known legit reliable 5K amps used for 700-800$ range every day of the week. Atomic, American Bass, DC, RD, etc. etc. etc. There's like 3 or 4 proven boards being used under about 20 brand names and most can be had in the same price range.

Second. In the 80's and early 90's Orion amps had 50W on the heatsink and made 500. The one I found says 5000 on the heat sink and might make 2500. This is a good indication that the company has been going in the wrong direction. IMO any company that needs to exaggerate what their product will do is incredibly shady and only cares about making a fast buck from a sucker. It's a really good indicator about how much they care about their reputation and what they think about their customers.

That thread makes me feel better about not using CACO since Ant bought it. A complete mess and no actual proof of anything.

Good luck, bro. If you buy it, be sure to pop it open and post pics here.

5K.

It never fails. Put an inflated number on some Chinese junk and somebody will thin they're getting something for nothing.
The 5k has dual power and grounds, the one in the pic does not.
