hello,

I got this amp (sony xplod xm-zr602) for free, i took it from a wrecked car. It is in mint condition, not a single scratch on the amp.

I was thinking on getting a small subwoofer for it...like a kicker C10 SVC or boston acoustics g1.

This amp is rated at 2x60w or 1x130w at 4 ohms. So thats a turn off... I drive a mitsubishi eclipse with the factory system on it,so i want to add a little bass. Since i got this amp for free i'm tempted to get the sub,but 130w of bass worth it?

BTW i can't find on the internet the price of this amp, does somebody know how much this amps go?

thanks

if you dont expect much out of it, it'll work fine for a free amp. you'll need to focus on getting an efficient sub and box though that can squeeze as much output of that set up as possible

A little bit of bass is better than none at all way I see it.Youd be surprised what you can do with 100-150 watts..Enclosure will make all the difference, and the right sub
