Some of you may know by reading a couple of threads I made I have a 2013 Honda Accord Coupe V6 HFP model. I am going to be putting a total 3000RMS audio system. My stock alternator is a 105a or 130a and I am wanting to replace it. I talked to mechman alternators and they said I can out a S series 240a alternator in. They also told me that if I take my stock alternator out and put a aftermarket one in that some of my accessories in my car won't work or malfunction like AC, Navi, etc. The car will think there is no alternator charging anything. Does anyone have any experience on this that can help me out. My other option is to leave the stock alternator on and have it run the car and add a 2nd alternator that is just for the audio system. The problem with this is that it is very tight and I don't think it can fit. I would like take the stock one out and replace it with a aftermarket one so everything will run on 1 alternator
