2011 WMD2 box.

I just ordered a PaP's WMD2 12" and I am wanting some advice on the box. I am pretty set on it being 2.8cf after alll displacement tuned to 34hz but the port size is where I am stuck. Mr. Pierce said anywhere from 28sq inches to 40sq inches would be optimal. What would be the difference in sound between one with 28sq inches vs one with 40sq inches? I was thinking about going with 35sq inches but thats just a number I pulled out my ***. Power will be from my aq2200@1ohm. Any advice would be great.

I can only find T/S for there old 2009 models. The new 2011's has 8 layer coils and now use a 3 spider pack (standard) instead of the 1 spider the 2009's used. The one I ordered has 4 med/hard spiders. I am waiting for a reply from Mr. Pierce to see if I can get some T/S specs for the 2011's. I will post once there sent to me.
