2010 ford F-150 alternator

Does anyone know of any issues with putting in a HO alternator on this vehicle?? and if so a fix for it?

none I'm aware of as long as its the right style of alternator. just make sure you upgrade your power and ground wires to handle the extra amps.

OK i just thought i seen someone on one of these forums saying something about fords PCM that did something that could make the alternator not put out what its rated or something along those lines havent been able to find it since, thanks for the response.

Hmm, hadn't heard anything like that. you could check out Ford F150 Forum - Community of Ford Truck Fans, they have lots of good info there and some threads about HO alternators. I have a '99 ranger and put an HO alt on it and all I had to do was unhook one and hook up the other, no issues.
