SOLD 200amp Alternator for GM 3400 engines.

(I stand corrected - THIS IS A 160AMP ALTERNATOR BY MR. ALTERNATOR and not a 200amp alternator) I have a new but mounted for a little while (3 Days) 160 amp alternator. It is red powder coated and I would like $200.00 shipped for it. It will fit various vehicles with the GM 3400 engine (3.4L engine that comes in the Pontiac Grand Am, Oldsmobile Alero, Chevy Malibu....etc etc). The case is dinged up a bit due to just sitting on the floor of my storage garage but I have applied touch ups to it which show by camera flash but not regular (daylight) UV or less light.

Sorry about that. I have edited the original post and please take note that I was wrong about the amperage output. It's only 160amps not 200amps.

man i need this, will it fit an alero...and 160 amps?, stock one is 110a whats the ratings? im very intrested thou, im worried mines gonna go and im about to drop in a orion 2500d and i dont know how my stock alt is gonna like that, let me know thou cause im really intrested maybe we can work something out...

It puts out 160amps. It will fit GM 3.4L V-6 engines. The Alero as this engine as an option as well. What year is your alero?

Do you know how many amps it makes when at idle? I have a 160 amp in one of my Grand Am's but doesn't do anything at idle.

Also what year Grand Am was this on? I know 2001 and up models had something different about them making it hard to put a strut bar on with it and I have a strut bar on the Grand Am Id need this for.

I'm not sure. All I know is that it's by Mr. Alternator. I see you have AED. I'm Actionjackson on AED. I havn't been on there for awhile though. This is my girls car....
