Folks,
i wanna install after market HU in my 09 vibe 1.8L with factory stereo (no navigation). I bought JVC KD-R810 Trim Kit and Harness kit GM2105. But harness came with lose RED wire for ignition power. I dont wanna run that wire all the way to fuse box. Is there any other place i can get 12V ignition power. I am trying to get that power from audio harness connector but color on car harness is different and i cant find any wiring help anywhere. Can some one please tell me colors of wire or where i can get 12V ignition power to stereo other than steering ignition or fuse box. i am stuck please help. Thx.
Update
I did connected the red wire to acc power but after soldering all the wires to GM2105 harness and plugging the unit to car i dont have sound. I am sure harness and speaker wires are not machingto car harness. Can some one please put Car stereo Harness color code of wires so i can hook up correctly.
Update
Mystery solved. I installed my stereo and its working 100% fine without any issue. again Dollar store gadget did the job to identify the wires i was looking for.
DIY to follow next week.
