I have an Alpine CDA7998R which only has one Ai-Net Port until recently I was running an apple cable to with a cheap Ai-Net adapter to send audio to my head unit and video to my Alpine CVA 1003R motorized screen which worked well, but meant i had to change tracks using my iPod.
I have now purchased an Alpine KCA 420i full speed ipod link allowing to control my iPod/iPhone via the head unit which is great but in order for me to now play videos on my screen I have the to pull the unit out of the dash and reconnect my old ipod link set up in order to again split the signal sending audio the HU and video to the screen.
Is there a way to split Ai-Net so I could have both methods connected at the same time, I’ve seen alpine set ups which can control several CD changers via one unit, which I think is the same type of thing
