2009 Subaru Forester component help

Hey my friend is looking to upgrade his OEM speakers.

His car is leased so he doesn't want to amp them.

He was looking to do a component set in the front, and either buying a cheap rear fill or just leaving the stock in the rear.

There is a spot for tweeters to be mounted, along with wires for the tweeter coming from the HU.

He was looking at Pioneer TS-C1653 - $85 - Sonixelectronicx.

Are these worth the money? Can I get some suggestions for other 6.5" component systems..

I have heard good things about Phoenix Gold RSDs, they only cost around $70 on ebay.
