Man, Id love to buy a new Dodge. Dodge has came a long ways & IMO still the best truck out there. My cousin just an 08 chevy 2wd & IMO its nothing great & looks retarded. My other cousin also bought an 08 chevy diesel. My 99 F-350 Ford 7.3 PS out preformed that truck in almost every area, but that truck has since been sold so it really doesnt matter now.

Plus, arent they still doing their lifetime power tran warranty?? If so, thats something you cant pass up!!

IMO there were only a few good years for Dodge trucks.

1979 was one of them.

Found this picture to illustrate...

you call coil springs in the rear an upgrade? i guess if you are going to use your truck as a car then it is but if you plan on using your truck for what its made for then it is horrible. leaf springs can take a shit ton more weight and they are alot more stable

leaf springs more stable than a 5 link?hmmm, most people dont use those trucks for heavy hauling and the ones that do will get a 2500, they still use a leaf

if you are pulling a heavy trailer or have a heavy load in the bed the leaf springs will be more stable

talking bout wanting power in a truck like that u can throw a edge in it u can get 35hp and 70ft of toruqe and get even more than that if u custom tune it for wide open throttle shifting points and stanard and how much gas goes into the engine at wot its for the 07 year it might work for the new 09's if not wait until they come out with one

i doubt gas prices will stay down, it says it gets 20mpg. i say b.s.
20 mpg highway. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

And research shows that 99% of buyers who tow more than 5,000 lbs go for a 2500 anyway, so the coil springs do offer a huge benefit in ride compared to the leaf springs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif:eek:

If you're not going to tow, want something fast, a good ride, and good gas mileage why not get a car?
