Whats the minimum cubes i could have with one BL and a ported box?? i currently have a 12" L7 and i want better sound quallity.

I've noticed this sub shines with the low's like in White Girl and other songs within that frequency range but It's weird, handles the lows great and the highs are awsome but I feel like I'm missing some of the in between that the Q would hit. I need to take a Vid, shakes my patio over hang and makes the bird feeder bounce around it's pretty cool. I'm contemplating making a new box and tune it higher, mine is 2.5cuft @ 32hz and try going for 2.5-3cuft @ 42hz to really see how the highs are.
