2009 Bl Is Here!!!

This thing is definitely a step-up from the Q. Everything is tuned exactly the same as I had for my Q and the only thing I've noticed that's a little different is it doesn't quite hit the lows as well as the Q but it still definately does bottom octave. The highs are AMAZING the Q sucked major *** with the highs. The loudness is definately different with most of my songs, it's louder and a little more crisp and clean and more responsive than the Q was. I'll take a vid later today, shakes the shit out of my house. Impressed I am. cool giv

The emblem on the back is definately cool gives it character //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Not to get off topic but how is the 12" BL compare to the 12" JL audio W6. Im planning to run one ported sub. Just looking for SQ with some kik. The current amp i have a 08 ZX 750.1 kiocker mono amp. Its 2ohm stablen and from what ive heard about the BL is that they dont need a lot of cubes and thats a + for me.

Well if your going for SQ I would say get the Q. From owning both the Q and the BL I myself prefer the BL as it hits every frequency I've thrown at it like a champ and handles the highs like no other. But if your going for SQ I would say get the Q.

Whats the minimum cubes i could have with one BL and a ported box?? i currently have a 12" L7 and i want better sound quallity.

mmm BL. my 2008 is still cool right? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

is the power handling still the same? is there somewhere that i can find a list of differences?

Nice, sir!
I've always wanted to try a BL. For those of you that have had them, are they more of an SPL sub or do they do well for daily applications?
I think they are a great daily driver sub. 1 15 is more than enough to satisfy a regular person. I put together a 15" BL (First Gen) on 1200 watts in 4 cu.ft. tuned to 33 Hz in a 03 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Great setup, especially for the cost.

I tought i was the only one complaning about the missing upper end on the Q. The bassline were too low for my little car. i guess the peopes in their car heard the waves better than I //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

It,s an awesome home theater sub tough imo
