2007 F350 AC Problem w/Aftermarket Radio

I have a 2007 Ford F350 Crew Cab with the Electronic Climate Control (same problem occurred with my 2006).

I installed a Kenwood DDX06019 head unit with the KNA-DV3100 navigation unit and the PAC Steering wheel control unit.

With the factory radio installed the AC works great. With the Kenwood system plugged in the AC cools poorly (temperature fluctuates and does not get as low).

I used a Metra adapter. The navigation connections are pulled from the radio wiring.

Can you think of what might cause this problem? Any suggestions would be helpful!

Honestly I cant help you other then to suggest you take it to a trusted shop in your area. I know there are a few folks here that install so maybe they will have a few other suggestions.
