2007 Acura TL type-S SQ Build

Completed a SQ build on a 07 Acura Type-s. Customer supplied the amps, dvd player, video module, Ipod module, line driver enclosure and sub woofer. Customer goal was to retain the oem navigation system and provide good SQ level with detailed highs. The equipment list for this build.

- Mosconi 6to8 DSP

- JL Audio HD600/4

- JL Audio 12W6 V3 sub Woofer

- Rockford Fosgate Line-Driver

- Fahrenheit dvd player, video module

- Ipod I-simple module

- TvandNav2go Module for dvd playback on oem navigation screen.

The driver side wire runs, 1/O gauge power wire and speaker wires for the mid and tweeter.

The passenger side wire runs, included the right side mid, tweeter and signal cables.

All doors was treated with focal bam x.x.x.l mat and black hole tile. The Illusion Audio C6 mids are mounted in the front doors oem location.

Custom 3/4" MDF ring adapters were made and coated with bed liner.

Looking very nice. Ever done the floors and driver's side of firewall in deadening on these builds?

I never gotten the request to have this done. most of my customers are daily drivers and not sound competition competitors. later this month I will be building a corvette where in this case im going to do the floors and firewall due to the stroker engine built for the car. that's a lot of working taking the dash apart.

customer provided a custom fiberglass enclosure for the sub. The carpet was old and starting to peel, I replaced it with black vinyl.
