In order to go to finals next year I would've had to have registered before the starting date, 9/17 or whatever it is?
I registered a few days ago and have hopes to compete in finals next year. But I think they're crushed.

As long as you are rgistered by the cut off date in 2007 you are good to go.

So basically you could go to shows all year and not pay for a membership til the cut off date in 2007 and still be eligable for finals...your points would acrue under your name instead of under your membership number.
