2005 Toyota Corrolla Audio Overhaul. Help Please

I just bought a used 2005 Toyota Corrolla, and 3 out of 4 speakers are blown, so im using part of my next paycheck to overhaul the sound system to make my hour commute every morning and evening bearable.

Approximate Purchase Date: Within the Month of June

Budget Range: 700-900

Parts Not Required: Radio (Car came with an aftermarket JVC KD-HDR61 CD Receiver)

Parts Preferences: None

Additional Comments: My friend is willing to give me a terminator Subwoofer that is 2 x 12" subs but idk if i want to take up that much trunk space considering im in a corrolla, thoughts on this as well.

So i guess what i am asking for is suggestions for all 4 speakers, amps, sub, and jsyk i am a complete beginner and almost need to be spoke to like an idiot, but i am an Electrical Engineer so i know what rms, the sound spectrum and wattage is.
