2005 Ram 2500. New deck, very little sound.

Hey guys,

I'm trying to install a Kenwood deck in my '05 Ram 2500.

I've got the CHTO-02 interface for the stock Infinity system.

When hooked up, everything on the deck works fine, but I have to turn volume knob all the way up to hear anything out of the speakers.

I've triple check all the wiring and everything's correct and the gain knob on the interface box is turned all the way up.

Any of you have any suggestions? This is driving me nuts.

Running off the factory amp or head unit power?

The CHTO-02 pulls power from the factory harness, so I'm not sure which it's fed from.

It should run though the amp then if it has one. Those decks don't put out much power at all it is powering it.
