I have an 05 Cobalt, trying to install a Boss BV9555 head unit. I am having two problems. 1.) Where do I connect the red ACC wire to? I was told by my local car audio store that it is the Dark Green wire but I am having trouble finding this. I do not want to do it improperly due to the fact that I have read this will cause an issue with the data center on the car (i.e. door chimes, check engine light, etc.) Problem 2.) I purchased a Metra 95-3302 mounting kit supposedly for double din units in GMs 2004 and up. It does not fit over the LCD screen on the unit and it will not slide on from the back of the unit. Am i supposed to shave it down to fit? Its probably lacking about 1/4 inch of clearance the whole way around. Please any help would be great. Thanks.
PS. Not as important but if anyone knows where the Parking Brake wire is so my passengers can watch a video while driving that would be great.
