I have searched the threads but dont see a clear answer. I want to simply replace the speakers in a mustang with the mach 460 - not replace the headunit or amps. This system has an odd amp/speaker/crossover arrangement - looking for someone who has actually done it - what speakers did you use and which amp in the system did you use to drive them.

Kind of pointless because it will most likely not get any louder or cleared based off the very low amount of power that the stock system is. it has a set of component 3 ways in the front but over all they run off like 30 watts. IMO, its not worth it, either save up the money to buy a deck and amp or put the money into performance.
