Yeah, true... I'm considering putting one under the seat now that I see you cleared it by just enough. Would be a little easier, as I wouldn't have to really make any long runs of wire since the power and grounds are already there.

wow, thanks for this thread. I am doing the same to me 2000 ext cab. I think I am going 2 10's firing forward though. I wasn't sure if my amps would fit behind the rear seat like that, but my ZX's are thinner so it shouldn't be a problem.

I gave the specs earlier in the thread, its a pretty basic box.

Nope, the stock belt fits nice and tight and didn't need to be replaced. No squeaking or anything.

Ok so I got the sundown amp back and all is fixed!

I had the bass at about half until I got back in the truck and then turned it all the way up. Sounds good!

Wow dude I was gonna take my back seat out of my 03 Sierra Ext. Cab for a system but after that video Im going with 2 10" FI SSD Downfiring connected to a Sundown 1500 So I can still have the back seat. Do you have anymore videos? Any of them from the outside of the truck?

The only videos I have are in this thread. The SSD's should sound good. What do you mean from the outside? What do you want to see?

Just wanted to know how far the bass traveled outside the cab, With the doors closed and windows down. Everyone tells me with downfiring boxes bass only sounds good in the truck.

Yeah, I'd say there is truth to that. It doesn't really travel that far outside of the cab, but it does sound really good inside.

I had some questions. I was thinking of a new box because I have figured out I can get it to about 2.4ish cu ft. Would I be better off to close the sub in i.e. false floor on that end? How much room in between? What exactly would that do? Thanks

thats an awesome setup... im starting to build my truck up.. how do those Alpine components sound? i was thinkin about gettin em but im not too sure..
