Tweets are in the factory position. Here is a pic from the backside of one.

Amps installed behind the seat. This is also where the HC800 will go when I get it. Its a little messy because they can't be completely hooked up until the seat is back in.

Didn't get a lot of pics of the box build, but here it is with a good start.

So now I'm waiting to get my amp back from Sundown, the HC800 and the rear speakers. I'll get some pics posted up when I get everything completed.

you ran the sub full chat yet? Joust wondering if you are sending the cone surround into the carpet at full excursion?

Nice job, carpet the box for stealth finish?

Looks good.. Hows that box configuration sound?

I wish my alt was that easily accessible //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

There is a little over an inch or so of clearance from the cone to the end of the box, plus the box is raised a little off the floor. If you look close, you can see a little ledge that the box sits on. I may carpet it eventually once I get everything settled.

Alt took about 10 minutes to swap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm not sure how the box sounds yet. Had to send the sundown in for repair. When I did have it playing it sounded like it would sound great for what it is.

Nice, im doing a system in my 00 perty soon (waiting on subs and rain to stop) and im glad i got to see under the doors and seat, i was wondering about these areas.

I have a question about the rear where you mounted the amps. I wanted to know how the clearance is between the back of the rear seats and amps that stick out that far ?

thanks... good job

That's a 4 channel kicker right? You could bridge 2 channels and work something

out for a little bass while the Sundown is away. That's what I'd do. Or just run the

mid/highs off the HU and dedicate the kicker if it's 2 channel.

There is plenty of clearance between the amps and the rear seat. When the seat is down there is at least a couple inches. When its up it gets close, but mine doesn't touch.

I might do that since I don't have my rear door speakers yet. Good idea.

nice, and curious if you would share your box design... i paid to have someone design one for me but always curious to see all options.
There isn't a whole lot to it. I gave the dimensions in a previous post. In the one pic you can see the basic design. It is just finished from there. The ports are 1 4" and 1 3" at full length. It gives me about the same port area as a 5" aero so thats how everything was figured.

4" = 12.56

3" = 7.065

= 19.625

5" = 19.625

Which is around 10 in^2 of port area.
