2002 Toyota Tundra HU Install Question

My friend has asked me to install a HU in his 2002 Tundra. I have only seen kits for 2003+ or from 89-2000. Are the 2002 dashes the same as the 2003 dashes, will the same kit work?

you shouldn't need anything but a toyota pocket... it's metra part number 88-00-8000 i believe... comes in a green package... can pick it up at circuit city... it should bolt to the bottom of the factory brackets... and then mount your radio on the top half
