2002 Chevy Silverado Help!!

I want to put a Rockford Fosgate HU in my new truck, i saw on another web site that i might have problems with the oil change sensor and the delayed turn off? Also a bunch of other mumbo jumbo about airbags and such. is any of this true? I have had the dash open and it looks like a strait forward swap out. Any help is welcome

Well with newer vehicles there could be some problems...but my parents havent had a problem with there truck and they have an aftermarket CD deck in there along with lots of other goodies... It's just a normal swap out, if you have any problems, consult with your dealer...maybe its just your truck if you experience any problems.

I haven't looked inside a new Silverado but with my 92 i had to move the stock hu (it was in a cubby hole type space) over to the middle of the dash. This is the way i've seen most installs.
