Hey, I am doing a system in a 2001 nissan frontier SE 4x4. Its all stock, the setup stock is just the deck and a front component speaker setup. So what im going to do is just replace the deck and front 6 3/4 speakers, and amp them. I want total sound quality, i want it to crank nice and loud but my most important thing is sound quality, Its a king cab so there is virtually no space in the rear, but i will figure out how to fit a single 12 back there, whats the best 12inch sub combo for sound quality?

I dont want to spend any more than 1500 for everything brand new, can someone help me pick out a setup? I think for the deck i am going to get this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12271_Pioneer+Premier+FH-P800BT.html

as the deck because it would fit the look of the car so well, its the same size as stock and it looks awesome, plus has bluetooth and ipod hookup, Is pioneers new stuff still having those alternator whine and ground problems? if so i will stay FAR away from that, ive had bad experiences.

So basically under 1500 bucks full system let the chimes begin please //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Personally I wouldn't eliminate used gear. You could go with thousands of decent set ups for $1500, so you need to be a little more specific about what you're looking for if you want to get answers. What are you looking for and what did/didn't you like in other systems you've heard. Talk to lyttleviet for components, he can get you some nice sets (Hertz or Morel at least).

appriecate it man! I was so busy thinking about it that I didn't even think I could look it up with a multimeter.

You should use an adapter. You might gain some insight on a Town Car forum as well. https://www.installer.com/cars/by_car.php?carid=3402
