2000LaDe's Demo/Bassrace Build 12 15" mojos

Lol I get what your saying But your saying im not entitled to a opinion? Not sure if you read but i said its a crazy build and I know tons of work went into it and i can respect that but its just not my cup of tea, and i now can udnerstand what your saying bout holding that 161 for 30seconds ok but still not really my cup of tea but i can respect the build and the work that went into it, me and 2000lade already settled that, and the fact im more into his other build his caddi, that shits tight.
I didn't like your tone and the way you carried yourself throughout this thread. Your opinion is skewed because you've taken this setup completely out of context and compared it to setups that aren't even in the same realm.

Compare apples to apples and then you might have a valid point. I have yet to see any superstreet 1-2 or supersteet 3-4 vehicle bassrace a 160+ and survive. Hell Corey Jacobsen posted on the last page and he even admitted that trying such a thing with those types of vehicles is crazy. The only one I've seen bassrace over a 160 was bob perillo and he has 9 15's and an asston more power than 2000lade, and even his setup doesn't last all the time. He also plays a much higher frequency which doesn't allow him to play all types of music at insane levels. And then there's steve mick who has 8 18" solo x's and 16 soundstream 2000d's. Which is actually MORE cone area and roughly the same amount of power as 2000lade.

It's not as easy as you make it sound.

Well i can say i honestly dont know shit bout competeing but maybe i did go overboard but the whole time i did say i respected his build and i know its a lot of work and sweat to build somthing like that. But im more of a daily beater like his caddillac he has that shits tight. So my apologized if i offended you, if you read my first coupleposts i didnt mean for it to blow up i was just stating the fact this is not my style build. But most people didnt explain the fact bout holding a number etc like you did. Most just started talking shit and dont take the time to explain it. But like ive said the whole time its a crazy build somthing i probably could never build but im just not into the bassracing or having a vehicle just for competeing. Now if he had a build log on his escalade I woulda been all positive on that but like me and 2000lade both agreed on. To each its own.

Build such a vehicle and prove it.
I've seen 6 15's do a 145 on the dash. Just because you have a lot of equipment it doesn't make you automatically loud.
I have seen 12 15's (on 6 rf 800.2's) not break a 137 on the dash on the first TL......week later using half of his enclosure (no longer in the shape of a V) bust out a near 150 on half the subs and power.

Well the van will be a daily beater once he beefs up the suspension. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I do hear where you are coming from though. I've seen some mean setups that are in daily driven vehicles that can still be USED as daily driven vehicles. Back seats, storage, etc.

Keep in mind that this is hank's demo vehicle and bassrace machine. He has other cars that can be turned into "daily" machines as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

He did have a build log of his escalade somewhere (he no longer has that car), I believe it might be over on ROE. Impressive build as well, but is nothing like this current build.

And you have to remember that this van is built to compete in the 150-159.9 bassrace class, a class that only a handful of guys can max out (i can only think of 3 other people besides 2000lade). It's the elite of elites and even if it's not in your taste you have to give them props for being able to accomplish such huge numbers. If it's not your cup of tea, then thats fine. But don't make it sound like any old joe schmo off the street could do it if he was handed the same equipment.

Wow......you did not just compare Meades Tahoe to this.........im speechless

I got banned from his forum forr saying i wasnt impressed with one guys 16 12s build doing a 156

And this doesnt impress you, you dont have a CLUE what a 162 is or means

I was just trying to search for finals results to see how many competed in 50-59, it cant be over 8 huh?

Its a nice build but just not my cup of tea, well have our own style builds we like right? Maybe next time ill just keep my opinion to myself lol. Just curious what do you bass race at tommy and what equipment?
Well I bassrace the 130-139.9 class, but the best i've done is a 144 bassrace with one DD 9510 and one kicker zx2500. Outlaw it will do over a 150 for 30 seconds.

This is in my s-10 thats actually one of the crappiest db drag vehicles I've ever seen. The same setup in my '99 monte carlo is actually 1.5 dB louder on the dash.

And the only ones who would even be able to max out the class would be tommy mckinnie, steve mick, and bob perillo.

Some other ones that might be able to do it this year are eric alexander and frankie rio depending on what he does with his setup.

But with that said, all the 150-159.9 vehicles I heard at finals were just crazy loud. Assman's van doesn't meter well at all compared to the others, but his is so painful to sit in because it can play anything and everything. Plus it does a mean hair trick. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Not to go too much off subject but somthing like your build somthing im into, im just into less subs with high scores, I'm guessin you are too or maybe just broke like me ha
Little of both.

I have a regular cab s-10 so I'm limited on equipment anyways, and I can't justify spending the kind of money these guys do. At least not with my current job. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would love to have a setup like this though. Imagine being able to play literally ANYTHING you want at insanely loud levels. Sure, being able to do a 150+ @ 44 hz with one 10" is cool and all, but I'd love to be able to do a 150+ @ 20 hz, and 30 hz, and 40 hz, etc. It's a whole different experience.

Hell, even steve meade has to limit his music selection because of the way his setup works. He can play a good variety of songs though, just not to the level that these big setups can.

Sick....very sick.... and to s beatz who think these numbers are doable with less...show me someone doing these numbers with less. 161 at 45 for 30 seconds. In a vehicle that can be driven.
