2000 watt sub replacement

I have a problem I need you guys to help me with. I currently run a treo ssi15 off of a Vibe 1800d(1100+watts @ 1ohm), in a slot ported enclosure in the trunk of a Cadillac Fleetwood. I plan on buying another Vibe and strapping it for 2000+watts@ 2ohms. I think I want to go with a 12" sub on that power, but I'm not sure what sub to get. I want to get a smaller sub because it would be easier imo to make a custom install look a lil neater with a smaller sub rather than going with another 15. What single 12 could I get that will get a good bit louder than my current 15, that works well on 2000watts? I'm also trying to keep the enclosure around 3.5cuft or less.

a Lanzar Vibe?, is that the amp your using? If so I would be a little weary about how many watts that amp really puts out. My experience with lanzar amps besides their opti amps, are pretty much over-rated...

Thats the review they gave the 1200d, which is the older version of this amp.

Anyway, does anyone know of any good 12s that fit my needs that aren't outrageously expensive?

I've always heard they are in the spl range of a W712 and if thats the case I,ve had the W7 and the SSI is a good bit louder. I'm not sure if they were speaking of the older version of the xxx or the newer one

Mach 5 SPL would run nicely on 2k, its thermally rated at 2.5K

for under 400 new its a beast.

How loud are those? never heard it, but I have seen one or two on here. How does it compare to an MT or BTL, because thats what I was just sitting here thinking about

You have to take into account that I'm going from a 15 to a 12. I'm doubling power but at the same time dropping cone area almost half. I'm sure excursion will make up for that loss though.

So a new version XXX12 will get louder than the SSI 15? Sounds good to me
