Personally, I'd rather purchase high quality- used (with high seller ratings ofcourse), than new and a little less quality.

Though I am not familiar with quality of amps necessarily, I am with other items (paintball etc), and I know buying used-high quality, is much better. Even though I will take any advice into consideration.

Sweet, I think I've finally come upon my new set up. Will purchase sometime this week (first sub purchase).
-Subwoofers - 2 jbl gt5-12's

-HU - Pioneer DEH-X65BT (Has what I need, aux cord so I can play music via iPhone)

-enclosure - Obcon 12" Dual Sub woofer Speaker Box Enclosure Labyrinth Slot Port MADE IN USA

- amp - Infinity REF1600A 600-Watt mono Car Subwoofer Amplifier

- wiring kit - Audio Technix 4 AWG GA Gauge Complete Fused Amp Amplifier Wire Wiring Kit | eBay

Not 100% finalized. But that's what I'm aiming for. Just to be clear, all of these parts should be compatible with a 1996 Honda Accord?

I wouldn't even buy a Q-Power box for kindling. It's the worst brand for car audio I've had the displeasure of stocking.

pre fab boxes **** ***. i had a qpower and it sounded like ***. here it is. pre fab boxes are not supported internally and are tuned 2 high and usually 2 small. hence why a single 12 in a smaller custom box over a 2 cheaper 12's in a pre fab

normally are 99 each have a 2.5 inch coil vs the 2 inch coil on the jbl. has direct leads vs no direct leads on jbl. jbl you pay for the name. amps nice if you are willing to buy used i can sell you a cadence daytona dca1000.1 for 120 shipped to you. made in the usa super effecient 1000rms at 1 ohm and 750rms at 2 ohm. leaves you with plenty of room for upgrade.

I'm not exactly looking for a pre fab, that's just what I happened to come upon. I've heard very good reviews of the JBL's (even from people on this forum), and I'm not familiar with the ones you linked me. Not saying they're not good, I'd just need to do a bit of research first.
