20" rims on a mustang

The ONLY reason he would RUB, would be using some wheels with the wrong offset.
He would need +35 to +40 offset wheels. +38 is ideal.
i know mustang stuff. i have had three of them. i had 17" rims with a 245/35 i think on one of them and with a two inch drop it would rub if anyone sat in the back. if the wheel travels up into the fenderwell while turning (like pulling into a parking lot), it would rub.

I HAVE a mustang on 20s. I would take the advice of the one that OWNS one on twenties, before one that 'knows' mustangs.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

You should not have much travel in the car with acceptable shocks in the rear, and struts/springs in the front, so you should not have any problems due to people being in the back (who rides in the back seat of a mustang, anyways?!)

Hell, I have cheap shocks strapped to the back, cheaper struts up front, and all the way down... (no airbag support...) I don't have enough travel in suspension alone to accomodate the wheel going into the fender to rub.

with a two inch drop on my cobra with stock rims/tires, it rubbed, bottom line.

Regardless, good luck in whatever you decided to do with your car, and/or wheels bro.

coming from someone who not too long ago asked what people thought about 20's on his HHR...
Speaking of tacky...

It's a Mustang...

Plus, I'm not putting 20"s on my car...because I'm not riding on rubberbands...which would look tacky to me.

Sorry I upset you...

Upset me? You're just another faceless name on a forum on the internet...

if this is your daily driver why in the hell are you wasting money and time with 20" rims...the ride will be shit, which kind of defeats the point of a daily driver doesnt it?

better to invest in some nice 18's or so and pocket the extra money, but if you're going to spend a few K on the 20's i would have gone with the V8 for the extra money
