I have a 2000 V6 mustang with 17" cobra rims on it now and wont to know if I put 20" rims on my car can I still get the 2" eibach lowering kit that I wont thes are the rims I wont to get http://www.mustangtuning.com/20x85-dd-bullitt-black.html and here is a pic of a 2000 mustang with 20" rims on it I think the bling bling look is stuped but to each ther own http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/News/select1299.htm and mustangtuning.com Best Tire Fitment is 255/35-20 and on tirerack.com they say that the Best Tire Fitment is 245/30-20 witch one is best for my car

those rims look really good! However, i would never put them on a v6...sounds stupid but the same thing goes for a v6 camaro...

good taste in rim but if you do go that route def get a 1 1/2 drop....that would look killer...

I wont the 20's for looks and look at the gap in the weel wel on the pic of the green mustang it cant be droped 2" without problem's and by the way I have a 1990 GT hatchback when I wont to go fast the V6 is a daley driver and a work car I drive over 40 miles a day to go to work and back the GT was a pain at the pump and the V6 is not as bad

NO...DO NOT PUT 20 INCH RIMS ON YOUR MUSTANG!!!

I also have a 2000 V6 and I would say if you want bigger get some 18's. 20's just look awful. Just go with the 18's and get some nice Eibach springs. I am either going to go with Eibach or Steedas for my mustang and will probably go with the black fr500's. 18x10 in back, 18x9 in front.

go for the 20's! i work at a tire shop and we've put some 20's on mustangs just like your's that have been dropped. it takes a little modifying of the fender wells, and inner fender lip...but it is well worth the effort.

now on to the v6.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I will stick withe the 17" rims I have for now but I will get the 2" drop and by the way jellyfish420 the 2000 V6 is a dayley driver I have a 1990 GT when I wont to play and have fun thanks for all the help guys

People who say they will rub = idiots.

Also, please keep in mind, 90% of this website, are people that are PROs at posting their ideas on what is going to work or not, KEY WORD, IDEAS.

I ride on 20x8.5" Gen X 'Matrix' wheels, with a +38 offset.

On 245/35/20 Kumhos.

I can ride almost all of the way down in the back without scrubbing, and I have to keep 60psi in the front to keep the front from rubbing.

It does not take any modifications, whatsoever, to the fender wells, nor inner fender lip to put 20s on a mildly dropped mustang.

he is still going to rub like crazy. keep the cobra rims and drop it 2". i hope you know it is going to ride beyond like shit though.

The ONLY reason he would RUB, would be using some wheels with the wrong offset.

He would need +35 to +40 offset wheels. +38 is ideal.

Locally, there are two mustangs on 22x9" wheels with +40 offsets... NOT rubbing.
