Ok you spl guys. My buddy wants to run 2 x L7 12's and at some shop they have recommended him to run 2 x Memphis PRD1000.1 to each sub. I have no dealing with the L7 or the PR amps. He is asking if this will be fine and if they are leading him in the right direction.

Second- They are telling him they can put them under the rear seat of a Chevy pick-up. I aksed to ask them the air space they figure they are running they said .92 per driver before driver displacment that seems way to small to me.

He wants it loud and is planning to run 6.5 comps upfront in kicks with coxials in the doors and coxials in the rear. He is in the states, I am over seas right now. I will get him to get on here and read your replies. I am not sure what to tell him seems a little bit of over kill to me. He keeps telling me he wants it loud and clean. The shop is leading him down this road and you know how it is trying to convince someone to look at all there options.

Give me some advice to pass on. I am an SQ guy so loud to me is not the same as what he is looking for.

If each sub is a dual 2-ohm the amps will work fine.

If he wants it loud, I would recommend on putting it in a large ported box. The sealed box probably won't make it loud enough.
