i was planning on getting 1 10" type r sub, but im not sure if i want 2 so im just going to buy one for now.

would it be better to just decide for 2 subs and get a single powerful amp at one time, or can i just get 1 sub now and if i decide to upgrade get an additional amp for the extra sub (2 amps total)

i was interested in this pioneer premier amp(250-360watt RMS): http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14539

also this other pioneer 500-1000 watt RMS http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14539

heat may also be an issue since i live in the desert of las vegas, would be going into 1990 acura integra also

probably the two amps is more than the single amp, money wise. so why dont you save yourself the money, buy the bigger amp instead of wasting extra cash on two of them, get yourself the one sub and be smart with the gains.

I concur with Bri487, if i were you i would get a hi power mono amp instead of the 2 amps, just remember to be wise with the gains. Also, since you live in a hot climate i would recommend building an amp rack with some fans to help dissipate heat.
