Hello,

I am still researching components, and am getting real close to purchase //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have a 2003 F150 X-Cab..

I will be using a 15" Brahma as a subwoofer.

The front/rear doors have 5x7 speakers. I was thinking of a 3-way Component set (6.5", 4" 1") or a 2-way (6.5", 1")

6.5" in kicks

1" tweets in doors

4" in factory front door location

Will there be a big difference between the 2-way and the 3-way to justify the cost?? I'm not exactly concerned w/ imaging, I just want good sound. 70/30 Sound/Image if you will.

And would 1 or 2 8" subs help reinforce the midbass, or just screw it up altogether??

the 4" in the door will kill the purpose of having a 3 way set. the higher the frequancy the more directional it is. most would put the 6.5" in the door...its more of a midbass which is less directional
