2 w12gti power capabilities?

Hi I was wandering could the 2 w12gti's handle 1500 rms each with out blowing them? I am planning on running 2 sundown 1500d's strapped each at 1 ohm which gives me 3000 rms my ohm load i am using for the subs is 1.5 which is leaning towards 2. I have not bought the 2nd amp yet right now i am running 800 rms on the 2 subs so about 400 a piece. Do you think each sub will handle 1500 rms has anyone ever done that much power the only thing i have read is that they will handle 1200-1300 rms which I can always turn down the bass on hu or gain to match up.

im curious myself, i've asked this before with no real answer.. but even if not they should be able to take at least 1000, and they are pretty efficient... so even if they cant take the full 1500... it will probaly be louder than alot of subs that would and sound great doing it.

The GTi's are pretty nasty drivers. My two Power series woofers can handle 1000-1200W RMS each (although I'm only sending them ~550W each), so I'm sure that your subs could easily handle 1500W a piece.

Matter of fact, a dude in my home town ran 2 GTi 12's off a MMATS amp that was 3500W RMS and those subs took it ALL DAY. Actually now that I think about it, he's a member on here...maybe he can chime in.

If I remember correctly, I thought I saw it somewhere I'll see if I can find it, also not sure how gains were set, that can also be a factor.

EDIT: I can't seem to find it, if someone else has, or knows what Im thinking about, that'd be great.
