RE XXX or RE MT

i have 2 12's l7's on a zx1500.1 and it does get loud and i am happy with it but however prob around new years i am wanting to go louder, i dont have room for 15's so only option is subs that can handle more power

the box i currently have is 5.65 before any displacement and i have one 6" aero in it so after displacement of that i have 5.50cu ft so i was wondering wat subs would get the loudest in the 12" range i have seen the re xxx can handle 2krms plus per sub that would be more than double the power each l7 is seeing right now, the specs say .24cu ft per sub so that would drop me to right at 5cu ft and the specs say 2.2 optimal would it still be ok if i had it 5cuft or would i need to make the box slightly smaller.

also wondering is this worth the change i know will need more batteries and a HO alt possibly, wanting to get 2 zx2500.1's if i do this change, how much louder would 2 xxx's on 4krms be compared to 2 12's l7's on 1600rms

and wat are the specs on the re mt

also will that box be too big or no its 5.5 after the port displacement of the one 6" aero

and wats the loudest 12's possible i can get to put in that box, since i cant get 15's

5.5 seems big for a 12, though i heard the XXX likes big box. There are lots of loud 12s out there. I personally would like to try the Mach5 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

i dont' think there are single 12" subs out there that would like that box. Unless it's an HT sub, even then...

ok but the xxx will still get louder than the l7's correct due to the power difference and should sound better than the l7's

so on the mt's wats the specs and how much power can they handle daily in a box that is the size i got its about 5.5 before sub displacement

and just read the above post i am talking bout 2 12's in that box

All install dependent. And you can always fit a 15" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif just go with a different box

i only have 13 inches of width so its impossible to do a 15 thats out of the question and i figure 2 12's will be louder than one 15 because the cone area

so wats the loudest 12's on the market right now, that get loud but dont sound like complete shittt though

the xxx's are rated for 2krms i believe thats the most i have seen on a 12

That box is quite large, I had my xxx 15'' in a 4.5 cube box.

yea its 5.5 after port displacement so after subs disp looking at 5net so wats the best subs to get for a box that size to put 2 12's in it i can always make the box slightly smaller if needed

but the l7's do get loud but after looking into re i see possibly i can get louder with 12's even though the l7's will have more cone area the xxx's can handle more than twice the power

aq's / DD's get loud as fock ..

Handle 2k daily easily off copper coils on the aq ..

ok but how much louder will it be going from current setup 2 12's l7's on 1500rms tuned to 33hz in 5.2net box going to something like a re xxx or mt or dd or aq on 2krms-2500rms a piece in a box about the same size unless needs to be smaller and same tunning

even though the l7's have more cone area the other subs can handle more power but how much of an increase will it be going from 1500rms to 4-5krms
