Amps do have surface scratches in the chrome. Its from normal use. I don't know how you could keep the chrome from getting scratched up some here and there.

Yeah both are. Both work better then new. Refurbs have to be looked over more then once so there just as good as new. I also think I paid more then that for the viper but that doesn't matter.
