Im going for sound quality, and im getting two 12'' type r's in a sealed pushing 1200 total.

The JL has huge displacement, I would think it should be louder than the X... and I keep reading posts from people saying thats the best or one of the best sounding subs they have ever heard.

Whether its worth the extra cash though... i dont know.

Its going to have to be my fathers day present... to myself.
