2-SX 12's vs. 1 sub setup

Ok im trying to set-up my cousins vehicle to pound hard with a 1 sub set-up. He heard my RE SX 12's and was just blown away, they try to tell me im one of loudest in the city but i find that hard to believe. He jus sold his 2-L5's and want to pound as hard as me. I told him to go wit a 1 sub setup because he can get a ported box in the back of his 2 door 325 BMW.

Heres what i was thinking:

SOLO-X 12 paired with a 2500watt amp at 1 or 2 ohms

12 RE MT with something pushing 2000+ watts

12 Old school stroker

12 DD 9550 wit about 2000+ watts

Not sure on how much he has to spend but i was going to get some numbers together for him so we can layout a plan to start doing some work.

He also needs some inside speakers with a nice set of 5.25 components and 5.25 coaxials for rear fill

Any suggestions will be accepted

What about audioque for the sub? Supposedly just as good as DD.

Theres a set of Image Dynamics coaxilas for $40 in the classifieds he could use for rear fill.

IDMAX just doesnt fit in.

A thing to keep in mind is that with the supersubs, you're STILL going to need a lot of room because even though it's one sub, true, it requires an assload of room. IIRC the MT and the 9512 and the Solo for sure all love bigger boxes.

My vote would be a single 15" MT if you could do it, on a 2500D ors omething of the sorts

If not, a 12" of a 2500d would be very impressive

ok guys i jus got off the phone wit my cuz and hes looking at 2 L7's that he can get for 450 a pair last years model, i told him about the 12 mag and the MT havent got the price on the MT yet. If he goes with the L7's it will definatley go in a sealed box but if he does the 1 sub he can definatly get ported in which i think will be better in his application.

Whats the price on a 12 MT

Snoopdan had an 18" for like $250 that needs a recone. Just look around the classifieds.

HD's are **** good subs

I'd be curious to see two 12" HD's on a 2500D, although from what I"m told a single 12 would handle that 2500watts just fine
