I was thinking bout getting these subs KICKER DUAL 12" CVT12 SUB VENTED TRUCK SUB BOX CVT NEW: eBay Motors (item 400155012127 end time Oct-16-10 15:30:02 PDT)

And this amp HIFONICS BXi1208D 1200 WATT RMS AMPLIFIER MONO CAR AMP - eBay (item 390225454198 end time Oct-09-10 03:11:55 PDT)..... what do u think

the newer hifonics amps are overrated and are power hungry amps.

I have a single sub setup in my car and my girls car. Im running a warden and shes running a death penalty. We both hit good numbers on not ungodly amounts of power(alot of its about the box). A $130-$150 deck would cut it, KnuKonceptz has nice wire(in my opinion) for pretty decent prices, Incriminator Audio, Sundown, Audioque, and FI all make decent subs for cheap that sound good and hit just as good. Its all personal preference from there really.
