I hear u on the funds issue. What about 2 dcon 10's??? Would bring the cost down some and 400 for the pair would be good plus you get the cone area..

Ok so how does playing lower equate to sounding better??? Ur welcome. I recommended the SSA's but yet i run SD hmmmmmm think about that one buddy.

I had 2 on a 1200 watt amp and they sounded good but not loud enough by the time they really started to move the amp would clip so I needed to upgrade to a 2000 watt amp and now they REALLY move and sound amazing.

um no, every body said that the sa will not be loud on 300rms and will be quieter than the dcons.

Little piece of advice, if even I am going along with what every body has said in the thread chances are it's because it's right.
