(2) SSA Dcon vs SA-12

I'm torn between these two setups for my substage. Vehicle is a '00 Jeep GC. I have ran 2/0 power/ground from the battery & upgraded the big 3 with 2/0. 165A stock alternator & new Duralast redtop. Don't want to upgrade either of those pieces. Either setup will be ported & most likely facing upward.

So what should I do?

single SA12 with 500-600w or dual 12 Dcon's & SAZ 125.2 (200w each).

the sa-15 is almost the same price and exactly the same 300 watts rms just to throw that out there.

The 2 DCONs will get louder, especially if u throw 600 at the pair. But yes, if u r gonna go single sub, get an SA 15.

funny this is the same config I have been thinking about 2 dcon 12s or 1 sa-15. because I only want to use about 600 watts. would stepping up to the sa-15 make this hit harder than the dcon 12s.

The sa-12's are rated at 600 rms and are seriously underrated you will need at least a 800-900 watt amp for it.

that is going to sound like crap

if your going to run 300-400 get either an epic 12 or dd1512 the sa is very unefficient and needs 1000-1500 to sound good

Yea the sa's need 1k+ to get loud... BS u sir have no idea what u are talking about... Why is the groan button removed perfect time for one.

Being a college student my funds are limited. I'm trying to keep the power down so I can run 4g. 1/0g power/ground runs add up when you're on a budget. And for my musical taste 400w of ZED AUDIO will sound better than 1kw of MaxxSonics.
