Just looking for help really, trying to see what you Guys recommend as far as Ported sealed or 4thorder. Subs facing up or forward port facing up front or side. Downloaded google sketchup was playing around and just wanted to know what you guys think would best suit this vehicle. The rundown of the setup is two vvxv2d2 15's wired in series parellel for a 2 ohm load. Electrical consist of stock alt two runs of 4guage two optimas and 900 cca yocam under the hood, the amp is a crossfire vr2000d which we had benched at 2180 at two ohms at 12.5 volts. The space we have is 53.5" long x 28" tall x 18" deep, you also have to factor in a notch for the driveshaft tunnel which measures 17.5"long x 4.25" tall x 18" deep. Also note that the rear seat has been removed and it is the four door model titan. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks for your time.

Subs up, port up,should sound best in a truck with a back seat removed.Im running 2-American Bass VFL 4480.1d amps @1ohm ea on 4-12"American Bass XFL,subs up port up,and they are serving justice.Going to try 4 Aero ports firing forward towards the seating, and subs up soon to see if I can get a better response from them 59x18x18 is my enclosure.I ran two optimus redtops last year, and they took a dive on me,along with an expensive alternator..FYI..I now run 2 Super start platinum AGM Orileys batts, and no issues running close to 5k rms total with all four amps,and HO alt, with the Big 3,My voltage stays around 14.2 down to approx 13.5 at idle on a low note..1500 rpm stays 14-14.2.Id get rid of those optimus batts before you have an expensive issue

Thanks for the advice I appreciate it I guess I will start designing a ported up firing and save the 4th order design for another time. I am gonna design a box and throw the design up here and ask for help on the design I'm gonna be looking for the most output without being to peaky would like the flatest response wave without losing output.

My last question is do you think I should go ahead and design the ported box or should I go with the 4th order I started designing (in my aplication)?

I like subs forward, port up. I had 4-15s in my extended cab Silverado.

Will have 4 more, soon. Same enclosure.
