2 RE SE12's or 2 Kicker CVX's

I agree with you guys that say some have not heard the CVX. I've owned the SE's before and they are great subs, but that CVX is an awesome sub. I do hate L7's, but love the CVX and the CVR. I'm only speaking for a ported box standpoint. I have 4 12" CVR ported in 11.2 cu/ft dual chamber in a Chevy Tahoe and it's hard to sit in the car at times. I've had RE, L7's, Ascendant, and a lot of other good stuff prior the the CVR's. I'm amazed at how many people like square subs. They all sound the same to me. I had to get them to get it out of my system and also got caught up in the forum hype. I like SE's way better than L7's. I don't know if this is helping you, but I would go with the cheaper one.

Like I said before this is ported setup experience. Some will disagree but I would pick the CVX because they are more user friendly and not that picky on box size. I like good low bass and I think it's easier to get low bass from the CVX. My box is tuned to about 38hz with the CVR's and it plays lower than every box I had tuned to 30-33hz and picks up the higher bass notes better than the SE's. Those CVR make girl's hair jump up on daily rap music. You can't go wrong with either. That CVX is way meaner than most think.
