Hello
Right now I have two 12" powerbass Xs-12 subs in a sealed box and although they do get loud, i know they could get much louder. Would i be able to cut a port and tune the box with 4 inch pipe or would i need to build a seperate ported box?
Here are some specs on the sub:
Power Handling (Rms / Peak):
800 / 1600 watts
Frequency: 25Hz - 500Hz
Nominal Impedance: 2+ 2ohm
Sensitivity (1W / 1M): 90.1 dB
Fs: 31.5Hz / Vas (Liters): 36.96
Qts: .33
I also want these subs to be able to hit low, because right now i can't hear the low frequency's as good as I did with my Eclipse 88120 in a bandpass box. Im in highschool and we all blast our music in our cars before school. Right now my friends 12" type r in a small ported box with 500 rms is kicking the @#%$ out of my 2 powerbass subs with 1400 rms. Inside the car mine sounds louder but from the outside with the trunk open, his seems louder. Any help would be great. Also should add that i have a 2001 Honda Civic.
Thanks
